The different types of work opportunities

Many people would love to work at home, but are not really sure what your options are. If you have been trying to find a way to earn sufficient income while being able to work from home, you must first find out what kind of opportunity you are seeking. Here are 4 ways you can work from home.

1. Telecommuting - You can have a "regular" job, with a fixed schedule. You work for an employer, and the only difference between this and the jobs that most people have is that going to work from home. Some extra points: You have a set of wages, benefits and work hours that would have a "regular" job, and you can work at home. Disadvantages are that you are still working for another company, hours for what they have created, and vacation time.

2. Buying a Franchise - If you are interested in a business, but do not want to start from scratch, you can buy a franchise. You will own that particular business, and be one of many in the franchise. That will run the business and everything in it, but in exchange for payments, is obtained using an established name, training, advertising, etc. pros: You still own your own business, but you get the benefit of assistance from other in the same business as you. You will also receive shared advertising. Disadvantages: It is your own business, so you do not have to pay a whole. You have to pay a franchise fee, and sometimes monthly or annual royalties.

3. Direct Selling - This is where you join a direct sales company, like Avon, Tupperware, Mary Kay, etc and start selling their products. You set your own hours, and usually there is only one small payment (if any) to sell a certain direct marketing company. Pros: You can work whenever you want, and take time off you want. There are also others in the same situation, so you can talk to them about ideas or help. Disadvantages: You do not have set pay, and according to the company, there may be others who sell the same to you.

4. How to start your own business - This is when you decide to do something completely on your own. It can be almost anything, but are not linked to another company in any way. This gives you total control over what you do and how. Pros: You're on your own, so you do not have to answer to anyone. You work your own hours, remove when you want, etc Disadvantages: None established payment. You are almost on their own, and that this business belongs entirely to you.

Decide which one seems more interesting to you. It is a difficult decision, but I hope this gives direction to find a good fit for your skills.
